Can a student from India do a summer intern at the MIT Media Lab? If yes, then what is the procedure for applying?
- No v.v.unlikely - having an intern come from India doesn’t make logistical sense or even intellectual sense
- There will be equally/more talented people on MITs doorstep - i.e. the USA
So trying to formally approach them will not get you anywhere IMHO.
Dare to dream. The conversation is very different if you turn up at the actual MIT media labs and prove your brilliance in person.
(But remember - you already have to be a badass academically and in as many other ways as possible else you’re wasting your time)
So in answer to your question:
- Yes a student from India CAN DO a summer internship at the MIT Media Lab
- But DON’T expect it be easy and remember you could get all the way to the States and still get rejected
But tonight’s dreams should be tomorrow’s plans.
Impress the right person and anything is possible.
