Deepak Shukla: How did you make your body transform from your first 10K to Ultramarathon or Ironmen and what is your best 10K time?

I actually did it the other way round.

  1. Start with marathons
  2. Then ultramarathons
  3. Then half marathons
  4. Then Ironman haha :stuck_out_tongue:
  5. Now 10k runs

I’m actually a poor short distance runner.

Best 1 mile time: 5 minutes 40 seconds

Best 10k time: 42 minutes

I’d like to get them down to 5 minutes and 40 minutes

My best advice - be consistent. Build your miles on the fields/roads and gym. It’s a complicated answer to be honest.

It’s all about steady progression of mileage!
