Do foreign universities actually read the LORs SOP of the student who is applying there?

Interesting.

Is this to assume that after looking at:

  • Grades
  • Country/School they are applying from
  • Size of the scholarship they are applying for/International fees they’d pay

You believe that they stop looking?

OR

Perhaps you don’t see the value in writing the SOP or getting an excellent LOR.

For me it’s a little like this:

'You came all this way to try out for the New York Yankees because you want to play major league baseball?

And then you want to ruin it by having this awesome reputation to back you up but not tying your laces, not washing your gym kit and spitting out your gum on the pitch?’

What a waste.
