I got into Warwick University which at the time (2005) was widely considered 1st/2nd in the UK for studying English Literature.
As discover over time, the true satisfaction of success comes in the PROCESS of achieving something, rather than it’s completion.
Don’t get me wrong - getting into Warwick given no-one in my family had even been to a Top 50 university was a big deal. So the elation I had - well it wears off.
What have I discovered over time? SETTING goals, and daydreaming about what is possible is far more long-lasting and exciting than the actual achievement of them.
So, set goals, daydream, achieve and repeat.
It’s one of the keys to ongoing happiness - which actually comes from purpose.
