I am addicted to my smartphone and wasting so much energy and time on it. It also affects my mind negatively. How do I stop this bad habit?

Some simple hacks.

  1. When you’re out with a friend

Give them your smartphone and only have them return it to you when you leave each other

  1. Start travelling WITHOUT a mobile charger/back up battery

So it dies sometimes

  1. Go to Settings>Apps>Stop notifications for Email/Whatsapp/Facebook entirely
  2. If you’re in class give it to your classmate (you trust) at the start and collect it at the end of the lesson

Do this for every lesson. Same with company meetings if you work

Start there. This will really really help if you can manage this for 2 weeks
