Is it possible to change yourself and not recognize yourself? I am 21 years old. Everybody tells me that I have changed so much. My friends welcome it, but my parents do not agree with it. I want to leave college and start my own business

Much like Nicolas Cole. I did.

Thoughts become things.

Change your words change your life.

Change your body change your life.

It is the case that truly anything is possible.

At 19:

My first year at university.

I was SKINNY, generally nervous, uncomfortable with my body, intimidated easily. I’d also been bullied a few times over the years and was socially awkward.

I wanted to change my life :frowning:

I decided.

I’m going to go to the gym and change my body as fast as I can.

In <2 years (around 18 months) this was the transformation I went through:

At 21

The result:

  • After working out 4/5 times a week for 45 minutes to 1 hour per time, doing super sets, an-aerobic exercise, training to failure, eating clean. I did that to my body. Also:
  • I had a French lingerie model for a girlfriend
  • I had recorded two new music albums
    • Had appeared on the BBC
    • Did a warm up performance for chart topping Roll Deep
    • A warm up for Mobo award winning Nate James
    • Sold 150 CDs personally at my university
    • Was in various publications as an ‘up and coming artist Deep Impakt’
  • The only English Literature student to secure an internship in Audit/Tax at Deloitte

At 27

  • My knowledge of how to change my body improved further still
  • I achieved that body exercising at HOME for 15 minutes per DAY with NO WEIGHTS
  • I was living in Lisbon
  • I was training for a 115km ULTRAMARATHON and had that body
  • I’d already run 10+ marathons, 2 ultramarathons
  • I’d not had a ‘job’ in 4 years
  • I had saved $38k USD after tax and all my bills within 4-6 months whilst renting in central london so decided to live ‘the life of my dreams’
  • I was funding my friends entire trip in Portugal to hang out with me

So how did I do it?

Well:

Thoughts become things.

Change your words change your life.

Change your body change your life.

It was seeing the 19 year old in the mirror that helped me who I am today. Thanks younger Deepak!
