Is "yours truly" a good valediction for a letter of introduction?

Is “yours truly” a good valediction for a letter of introduction?

I think, that whilst ‘yours truly’ could be one of several possible valedictions for a letter of introduction, there are others that are more preferable.

alternatives such as yours sincerely, or kind regards, or regards - are validations that I would consider to be a little more professional.

Personally, I feel that yours truly smacks a little bit of insincerity. Whilst this is of course a purely subjective opinion, I would consider that I am not alone in this feeling.

And with so many alternatives on options that are preferable I would say go with one of the others that I offered.

I hope this helps in some way!
