Should I add the year next to each project from the project section of my resume?
Well dates are important so someone can build up a timeline of the things you’ve done. It’s vital.
Therein lies the purpose - so I know exactly when you were working on certain projects and/or jobs.
The value of it is: in relation to your current ability using any historical skills you might have picked up - and also it tells me other things about your career journey - the rate at which things have happened and the order that you have done them in.
So for lots of reasons it’s valuable!
