What should I follow to run at least 5 miles day?
So I’ve putting together a guide upon this - you can head to the waiting list here.
But broadly my advice:
It is as is with Aesop’s fable of the Hare and Tortoise.
Running 5 miles PER DAY is not easy thing. It’s fatigue and lack of conditioning that will stop you.
Slow and steady wins the race
2.5 miles per day
Run 3 miles per day
Run 4 miles per day
Week 4: Run 5 miles per day
Some other tips:
- Run on grass as much as you can
- Take 1 day off every 3/4 days
- If it get’s boring DON’T increase distance but DO increase speed
- Aim for one Personal Best over that distance per week. (It can’t be the first day)
