When graduate admission committees detect a discrepancy, do they contact you for clarification or they'll just tell you the fraud and reject you?

When graduate admission committees detect a discrepancy, do they contact you for clarification or they’ll just tell you the fraud and reject you?

This is a rocky road.

The issue is when they do detect a discrepancy they will begin to wonder about the ‘discrepancies they have yet to detect’.

It’s definitely the case that they could contact you to ask for clarification but if I was a betting man I would say that it will harm you more than it will help you.

So the short answer is run with the truth as educational institutions will always look at your transcripts and grades etc
